EDMONTON'S BYOB BULL BATTLE 

A first-of-its-kind event is coming to Edmonton.

Edmonton's BYOB Bull Battle, featuring BFO and presented by PBR Canada, combines team bull riding and freestyle bullfighting in one afternoon of high-adrenaline competition.

Six of Canada's top professional bull riders will compete alongside the sport's next generation, building their teams and selecting their bulls before battling for championship honours and a share of the $25,000 purse.

One event. Four battles: team versus team, rider versus bull, bull versus bull and bullfighter versus fighting bull.

BY THE NUMBERS

6 Teams: Led by Canada's top professional bull riders.

12 Riders: Professionals and emerging athletes competing side-by-side.

$25,000 Purse: Awarded to the championship team.

2 Disciplines: Team bull riding and Bullfighters Only freestyle bullfighting.

HOW IT WORKS

Each team is led by a top professional bull rider who selects an amateur teammate and the bulls their team will ride.

After both competitors make their out, the scores are combined.

The team with the highest total score wins Edmonton's BYOB Bull Battle.

FEATURING BULLFIGHTERS ONLY

Bullfighters Only brings freestyle bullfighting to Edmonton.

In freestyle bullfighting, the bullfighter is the scored athlete, competing one-on-one against a fighting bull. Judges score style, control and degree of difficulty during a 60-second matchup.
